This Victorian glove tensioner with a twisted silver handle used to be used to stretch the gloves. The antique glove tree is dated 1899, this can be seen from the hallmark in the silver that was awarded in Birmingham
A unique beautiful antique glove box. The red velvet box is in very good condition and has 4 small round different images on the lid, of gentlemen from the Baroque period. Furthermore, beautiful openwork gold-coloured metal decorations on the lid and on the corners of the box. The handle and closure are also beautifully made. In the glove box a bone glove tensioner, this was used to stretch the chamois leather gloves slightly so that they could be put on more easily.
