Beautiful antique glass jar in which the powder puff could be stored. With a romantic image of a couple in love applied to the inside of the lid.

Beautiful antique black paper marché jar, in which the powder puff was kept. On the lid of the box and on the box images of flowers
The papier-mâché is different than in the capacity that we know. In the 19th century, even furniture and ceilings were made of papier mache, the recipe of how the paper was made then has unfortunately been lost.
The jar is in good condition.
