Antique glass jar with beautifully decorated silver lid. The glass jar is provided with beautiful cuts. This jar used to adorn the dressing table of a lady filled with cream. The silver is marked in Birmingham 1902. The inside of the lid is gilded to protect the silver against the substances in the cream.

The beautiful antique glove box lined with red velvet and nicely decorated handle and corners houses a pair of chamois leather gloves and a bone glove tensioner, this stretched the close-fitting gloves so that they could be put on a bit more easily. Also present is the clip that holds the tensioner on spot in the box. The box is in very good condition.
