A chocolate box? Unbelievable, but chocolate used to be an expensive delicacy and it was packaged very nicely! This beautiful antique light green velvet oblong example, served as packaging for Fry's chocolate. The box is beautifully decorated with gold-coloured art nouveau ornaments, handle and lock. The green velvet is in very good condition, some small worn spots on the corners are present but not disturbing. A small piece of the decoration at the handle has broken off, but this antique box is equally beautiful!
Vintage glass jar with cork. In the jar a large number of oval brown pills, we cannot say with certainty whether these are the original pills. According to the English label, the medicines were used for kidney problems.
