Antique leather case from the Victorian era, in which a so-called amro photo has been placed. This technique of taking photos dates back to the mid-19th century. The photo shows a lady sitting. Around the photo a gold-colored border. On the left inside of the case, beautiful red velvet that served as a cushion to protect the photo. The cover could be closed like a booklet. This way the photo could be safely taken on a trip. In good condition, but a slightly colored edge is visible on the photo
