Which Victorian-era lady will have worn these black leather lacing / lace-up boots? We wonder and our thoughts fill with images of the past.
The boots have not been walked on very much, it does have some signs of wear, but the elegant boots are certainly still very decorative.

A beautiful pair of brown leather Victorian lace-up boots. The soles are almost completely new and the leather is in very good condition. The fabric on the inside of the boots shows that these are old boots.

We don't like walking this flea market, handmade wooden clogs. The part in which the foot slides is made of leather. The clogs were made at the beginning of the last century in the French town of Pontivy in Brittany. These are probably fantasy clogs
