When the ladies used to travel, this leather box went with them. It was also called Ladies Companian. The antique box is covered with black leather and beautifully decorated. The antique black leather box contains pins, scissors, a thimble, a pencil, cardboard to write on, a small brush and two tweezers.
This antique handmade pin cushion is large and heavy. On the top a floral pattern made of rows of beads strung together. The olive green velvet fabric is quite jaded. The cushion dates back to around 1880
What must have been on this silver dish? Maybe stamps, hair clips? We don't know. We do think this antique silver decorated bowl is very cute! The bowl is marked Birmingham 1901.
Nice brocante English pin cushion that has mother-of-pearl on both sides with small blue flowers painted on it. On the top you can see that the pin cushion has been taken from Bournemouth as a souvenir.
