Around 1900 this black leather (travel) box was used to store matches. On top of the matches the part where the matches could be struck. The box has some signs of wear but is in good condition.

Unique vintage metal tinder box in the shape of a violin. Inside the tinder box were matches that were passed over the ribbed part to ignite.
