Around 1900 this black leather (travel) box was used to store matches. On top of the matches the part where the matches could be struck. The box has some signs of wear but is in good condition.
In this beautifully decorated antique, Victorian silver tinder box matches were stored in the past, the matches could be struck at the bottom of the box.
The silver box is marked with a hallmark from Birmingham 1900
Nice vintage porcelain vase for matches. The vase is made in the lower leg of a lady with a cat standing in front of it. Unfortunately, a small piece of the cat's left ear has broken off, but not disturbing
